TERMS & CONDITIONS

Debut Studios Tattoo Limited– Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings and Treatments at Debut Studios (“Debut”, “we”, “us”), including but not limited to tattoos, piercings, permanent makeup (PMU), aesthetics, skin treatments, manicures and other services.

By booking or attending an appointment, you agree to these Terms. Certain Treatments may also be subject to additional consent forms, medical questionnaires, patch tests, treatment-specific terms and aftercare instructions.

1. Bookings & Deposits

All appointments require a deposit to secure the appointment. The deposit amount may vary by artist, practitioner and Treatment and will be confirmed at the time of booking. Deposits are generally non-refundable where a client cancels, reschedules or fails to attend in accordance with our cancellation policy. Deposits are not transferable between clients, artists or Treatments unless agreed by Debut. You must provide accurate contact details when booking, including full name, email address and contact phone number. Appointments are only confirmed once a deposit has been received. We may require your card details in our secure booking system to confirm and hold your appointment. No charges will be made to your card without prior notice, except in accordance with our cancellation and no-show policy.

 2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

At least 7 calendar days' notice is required to cancel or reschedule while retaining your deposit. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 7 calendar days will normally result in the deposit being forfeited and a new deposit being required for a future booking. For late cancellations or no-shows, Debut reserves the right to charge a reasonable cancellation fee reflecting the appointment time and costs reserved. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in future bookings being declined. If you arrive late, your treatment may be shortened or cancelled where insufficient time remains to complete it safely. Charges may still apply.

3. No-Show & Late Arrival Policy

If you do not attend your scheduled appointment without prior notice (“no-show”), you may be charged the full cost of the treatment and/or refused any further treatments. The regular deposit policy applies to any future bookings. If you arrive late, your treatment time may be shortened, your appointment may be cancelled and treated as a no-show at our discretion, and you may be charged from the original start time of your appointment. Cancellations made within 7 calendar days of the scheduled appointment may, at our discretion, result in the full cost of the appointment being charged.

4. Pricing & Payment

Prices and quotes are confirmed at the time of booking. Tattoo quotes are estimates and may change if the size, design, specification or time required changes. Additional time or work will be charged at the applicable rate. Payment is due at the end of the Treatment unless otherwise agreed. All prices are subject to change without notice, however once a booking is confirmed with a deposit, that price will be honoured unless the scope of the work changes. This is at the complete discretion of the artist/Debut Studios.

5. Age & ID

Clients must meet the minimum legal and studio age requirements for their Treatment. Tattoos, PMU and cosmetic injectable Treatments are available only to clients aged 18+. Cosmetic botulinum toxin and dermal filler Treatments will not be provided to anyone under 18. Piercing age requirements vary by piercing. Primary ear lobe piercings may be available from age 7; other ear and body piercings are subject to a minimum age of 16 with the required parental/guardian consent. Nipple piercings are 18+.

Debut does not offer genital or intimate piercings. Valid photographic ID may be requested. If appropriate ID cannot be provided, treatment may be refused and the applicable cancellation policy may apply.

6. Treatment Suitability & Medical Information

Certain Treatments require consultation, consent forms, medical information or patch testing before treatment. You must provide complete and accurate information about relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, pregnancy, breastfeeding, previous treatments and anything else that may affect your suitability. Failure to provide accurate information may result in treatment being refused or postponed. The relevant artist or practitioner may refuse or postpone a Treatment where they consider it unsuitable, unsafe or inappropriate.

7. Treatment Outcomes & Aftercare

Results vary between individuals and no specific cosmetic or aesthetic result can be guaranteed. Some treatments require multiple sessions or touch-ups at additional cost. Clients must follow all aftercare instructions provided. Debut is not responsible for issues resulting from failure to follow reasonable aftercare or disclose relevant medical information. If you have concerns following treatment, please contact us as soon as possible.

8. Conduct

Debut reserves the right to refuse or stop treatment where a client is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, behaves abusively, threateningly or inappropriately, fails to follow reasonable instructions, or presents a health, hygiene or safety concern. Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour towards staff, artists, or other clients will result in immediate termination of service without refund. Only the client and any guests specifically approved by Debut or the practitioner may enter treatment areas.

9. Photography & Intellectual Property

Artists retain intellectual property rights in their original designs and artwork unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients may not reproduce, distribute, sell or commercially use bespoke artwork without permission from the creator. Debut Studios may take photographs of the treatment area for record-keeping and marketing purposes. Images may be used on social media or our website unless you notify us in writing before your appointment that you do not consent.

10. Practitioner Responsibility & Liability

Debut works with independent artists, practitioners, technicians and clinicians. Where a Treatment is provided by an independent practitioner, they remain responsible for their professional judgement and the treatment they provide. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Clients remain responsible for providing accurate information and following treatment and aftercare instructions.

11. Cancellation by Debut

Debut may need to reschedule or cancel an appointment due to practitioner illness, emergencies, safety concerns, treatment suitability, equipment or studio issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where we cancel, we will provide as much notice as reasonably possible and offer to reschedule or provide an appropriate refund of payments relating to the cancelled appointment.

12. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and valid for six months from purchase unless otherwise stated. They cannot be exchanged for cash and no cash change will be given. Gift vouchers are subject to availability and our standard booking and cancellation terms.

13. Complaints

If you have a concern about your Treatment or experience, please contact Debut within 30 days of your appointment date, preferably in writing, with details of the appointment and issue. We will aim to respond within 14 days. This complaints process does not affect your statutory rights.

14. Data Protection and Privacy

We collect and store personal information necessary for providing services (name, contact details, medical history etc.). All data is handled in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act. We will not share your personal data with third parties except where necessary for the service, legal compliance, or with your consent. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

15.Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
